Symmetricoms 9633 Low g Sensitivity Military OCXO is made for next generation military navigation, radar and secure communications. Designed to withstand a wide range of operating environments, the 9633 is ideally suited for ground tactical and airborne applications where superior frequency stability and phase noise are required.
The 9633 achieves its superior dynamic phase noise performance by utilizing both electronic and mechanical compensation techniques to provide up to 40dB of compensation when operating under vibration. Acceleration sensitivity of <2 E-11 per g (gamma) over wide frequency ranges can be achieved.
The 9633 is based around an ovenized 10 MHz 3rd over-tone SC cut crystal resonator that is hermetically sealed enabling environmentally insensitive operation in a small 1.60 x 3.00 x 1.67 H package.
Both electronic and mechanical compensation techniques are utilized to provide up to 40dB of compensation when operating under vibration. Total gamma acceleration sensitivity of <2e-11 per g can be achieved.
